ABOUT

Mission Statement:

TO DEVELOP AND PROMOTE OUR PLAYERS IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THEIR DREAM OF PLAYING DIVISION ONE BASEBALL AND BEYOND.  THIS WILL HAPPEN THROUGH OUR EXTENSIVE NETWORKING ABILITIES, COUPLED WITH A PROFESSIONAL STAFF THAT IMPLEMENTS A YEAR ROUND PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.

The Midwest Pelicans is an elite baseball organization located in Northern Ohio. The organization was founded by former professional players in order to offer a program that suits the needs of the area’s top talent when it comes to player/personal development, competition, and exposure. We are unique in that we specialize in a year round player development program, which is conducted by former professional players who have a passion for teaching the game of baseball. We will win as a byproduct of our system, and by enhancing the skills of already talented players.

In less then two years, players from the program have received over $1,000,000 in scholarship money, and every player to graduate from the program has committed to play baseball at a college program.  In 2012 alone there have been 21 college commitments, with 14 of those at the division one level.

Pelican Players have been scouted by every professional team, as well as the top college programs in the country. Each member of the staff has their own set of relationships, along with exceptional networking skills for the players benefit in the college placement process. This is invaluable to the players within the organization, and is one of the many reasons our players will ALWAYS continue their careers at the next level.
